The Center for Public Humanities at the University of Colorado Denver would like to invite you to
"A Forum on Amendment 46" on October 14, 2008.

This event will be the first of a planned series of events on The Crisis of Inclusion in Higher Ed.

Amendment 46 is the Colorado ballot initiative that would ban state government and public universities like ours from looking at race or gender in hiring, admissions or awarding contracts. Our "Forum on Amendment 46" will feature Jessica Peck Corry, who is Executive Director of the Colorado Civil Rights Initiative, presenting the pro-46 side of the argument; and Melissa Hart, who is Associate Professor of Law at the University of Colorado Law School, presenting the anti-46 side.

The event will take place from noon-1:30 on Oct. 14, in the Tivoli Commons, which is a highly public venue right on Auraria Campus (next to the on-campus bus-turnaround on Larimer St. - see campus map www.ahec.edu/parking/maps.htm)
